The special event for the furniture industry.

What makes ZOW such a special event? What advantages and benefits does it offer exhibitors and visitors? Trade fair participants explain all from their entirely personal perspective in the new ZOW testimonial campaign. ZOW is a special event for the furniture industry – and not just because large numbers of manufacturers and suppliers are based in East Westphalia. These companies bring the trade fair to life as the heart of the whole manufacturing industry. To further expand the format, Maik Fischer’s team have recruited prominent exhibitors to promote ZOW 2020 in a testimonial campaign. “Our campaigns are informative. But it is the exhibitor statements that are persuasive because they are authentic opinions that show why ZOW is the right platform,” says Maik Fischer, Director of ZOW and interzum at Koelnmesse. The first campaign images featuring Peter Sagemüller, Director of Marketing/Product Management at Schüco Alu Competence, and Klaus-Dieter Midding, Managing Director of SIROCAMAR, were presented to visitors at interzum. Further testimonials from prominent figures will follow over the coming weeks.

The integrated campaign focuses on social media but also includes print measures. Its aim is to achieve a further significant increase in the exhibition area and visitor numbers and to cement the event among the relevant set of its target group. The statements from the exhibitors are unanimous: ZOW is an exceptional opportunity for them to present their products and innovations in the years when interzum is not held. The event’s format and location attract an extremely interesting and knowledgeable audience.  “Development cycles are getting shorter and shorter for our customers. New products are being launched every year or even multiple times a year in some categories,” explains Klaus-Dieter Midding, Managing Director of SIRO-CAMAR. “ZOW is important to us because it bridges the gap between the interzum years.” Peter Sagemüller, Director of Marketing/Product Management at Schüco Alu Competence, says: “There’s no alternative to ZOW in Germany in the years when interzum is not hosted. Any company looking to present new products to a major part of their target market has to be there.”

With a total reach of almost 100,000 users, just under 1,000,000 impressions and more than 7,000 link clicks within its narrow target group, the campaign has successfully reached its high-quality target audience. The next edition of ZOW will take place from 4 to 6 February 2020 in Bad Salzuflen.  Koelnmesse – Global Competence in Furniture, Interiors and Design: Koelnmesse is the world’s top trade fair organiser for the areas of furnishing, living and lifestyle. At the trade fair hub of Cologne, the leading international fair imm cologne as well as the trade fair formats of LivingKitchen, ORGATEC, spoga+gafa, interzum and Kind + Jugend rank among the internationally renowned and established industry meeting places.
